Top 5 Glitter Nail Polishes

With the festive season fast approaching I want to get into the Christmas spirit already and I am doing it with my nails (it isn't acceptable for a Christmas jumper yet is it?). Glitter nails looks great at any time of the year but especially at Christmas. I always find myself go between these five polishes out of my whole nail polish collection so I thought it was only right to share them with you all! Three of the polishes are from OPI which has to be my favourite nail polish brand which is why three out of the five are from OPI.

Barry M Christmas Tree, OPI My Favourite Ornament, OPI It's Frosty Outside, OPI Wonderous Star, Rimmel London Aurora

Barry M have released a couple of new polishes for this Christmas so I knew I had to get my hands on this beauty, Christmas Tree. This one is stocked in Superdrug and it is the perfect Christmas glitter. Full with Red, Green and Silver glitters it works perfectly on its own or over a polish, I love to layer it over OPI Big Apple Red. This polish lasted for a full five days before it started to chip. I recently did a whole review on this polish, so if you would like a little more information you can click here. This polish retails for £3.99 and it limited edition.

My Favourite Ornament is from last years OPI Mariah Carey Christmas collection and I am still loving it this year. This polish is pink gold perfection. You can get away with just one coat and your nails are left with full on glitter. This one is perfect as an accent nail but I love to wear it on every nail. This is one of the best glitters I have ever laid my hands on because it is so intense. This beauty retails for £15.

My next glitter is a textured one, I know some people dislike them but I really don't mind them. OPI It's Frosty Outside is a stunning silver, with some larger sized glitters in too. This polish is great if you are in a hurry because it dries so quickly! If you don't like the textured effect you can just apply a clear top coat and your good to go. This polish lasts for about a week on my nails which is amazing as most polishes seem to chip within a day or two. There is no need for a colour under this polish as it is very opaque. You can get yourself this polish for around £9!

My final OPI favourite is Wonderous Star. This glitter is perfect for accent nails or as a top coat all over. It is filled with beautiful silver glitter with tiny black glitters. This one is thinner than some glitters so it doesn't gloop up your nails or take to long to dry. I love to wear this over darker colours or on a red for an accent nail. This polish is only around £6 which is a bargain for an OPI full size polish.

My final favourite glitter is from Rimmel London and it is Aurora from the Space Dust collection. This polish is another textured one but I really love the effect with this polish. This is such a stunning colour, a lovely champagne pink with silver glitters. This polish lasts forever on my nails which I am really impressed with considering it retails for only £3.99.
