I love warm toned eyeshadows and when I saw this palette launch from Dior, I ordered it pretty much the second it went online! I hadn't tried any of the eyeshadows from Dior since I was a teenager but I had high expectations as Dior is my favourite luxury beauty brand. 
The Dior Backstage Eye Palette in 007 Coral Neutrals retails for £39. This palette contains multi-texture products including an eyeshadow primer, highlighter and powder eyeshadows in different finishes that can be used in a couple of different ways. If this shade isn't for you, there are five other shades available. These palettes are adapted to all different skin tones and have buildable finishes and textures. I really like the Dior Backstage collection packaging, it's simple and timeless but still feels luxurious.
The Dior Backstage Eye Palette formulas have been created to be long wearing and rich in pigment while having buildable colour pay off and offering a second skin effect. I really like that these palettes include a highlighter and an eyeshadow primer because while I don't usually use eyeshadow primer, I have been using it with this palette and I do really like it! And it's nice that you don't have to purchase an additional product.
There are seven powder eyeshadows, one highlighter shade and one cream eyeshadow primer in this palette. The eyeshadows are in three different finishes, there are metallic, shimmer and matte shades. If you love warm toned eyeshadows, this palette is a must have. While all of the palette in my makeup collection basically are warm toned, this one features slightly darker warmer tones that I typically wouldn't go for but I have been really loving. And even though the shades are slightly darker and bolder, there are still enough shades to do day time and everyday makeup looks.
I have used all of the shades in this palette which is quite rare for me! I love the lighter shades for everyday wear, even if I'm in a rush to do my makeup I will take one shade with a fluffy brush and apply it all over the lid and into the crease and it makes such a difference. The bottom row of shadows make stunning eyeliners as well!
The shadows alone are long-wearing and apply extremely well as you would expect from a brand like Dior. The shadows are definitely buildable but they aren't streaky or patchy in the slightest. The highlighter shade looks stunning on the cheekbones but I also love applying it as a topper over some of the bolder shades on the lid. The primer glides onto the skin and isn't greasy or oily. It beautifully enhances the eyeshadows and makes them even longer wearing.
