Barry M Speedy Quick Dry Nail Paints

When I saw this collection was released, I will be completely honest, I wasn't that fussed about it. But my lovely cousin got me a shade of my birthday and I have fallen in love with these Barry M Speedy Quick Dry Nail Paints so much so that I think I am going to end up with all of the shades! These polishes claim to have a very quick dry time and full colour intensity to be achieved within two coats.

Barry M Speedy Quick Dry Nail Paints Swatches
Swatched (from left to right is): Pit Stop, Pole Position and Lap of Honour

In this collection there is nine different shades all with racing car themed names and all pastel shades which is perfect for the upcoming Spring/Summer season. Pit Stop is a light grey with a tint of purple to it, Pole Position is a stunning mint green shade, looks a look brighter on the nails than it does in the bottle or in my swatch and Lap of Honour is a beautiful pastel lilac shade. I have my eyes on Road Rage and Eat My Dust so I am sure they will appear in a haul post soon!

The brush on these polishes is incredible and is my favourite out of all of the barry m nail polish brushes. The brush is so much wider and isn't as thick as the other brushes which makes application a dream. It fits my nails so much better and I can apply it so much quicker now without missing any spots on my nails.

Each of three shades that I currently have only need two coats on each nail to get the colour that is in the bottle which I am really impressed with. In terms of the which drying claims, they do exactly that! I can honestly way within no more than 15 minutes they were completely dry and touch dry within five! The first coat was dry with a few minutes, no more than 2, and I was able to do the second coat.  I actually made my bed 15 minutes after applying it for the first time and didn't get a single smudge! That is the main reason why I went and got two more because of how quick they dry. Most an polishes take hours to dry on me and most of the time I avoid painting my nail because of that but now I have these beauties!

I didn't use any base coat or top coat to really put these polishes to the test and with each of the polishes I got at least three to four full days wear out of them before they started to chip which on my nails which is fantastic!

I would one thousand perfect recommend these if you are looking for some lovely pastel nail polishes for this Spring. I love how quickly they dry and that I can get three to four days without chipping is a bonus for me. These nail polishes retail for £3.99 each which I think is such a bargain. I have seen these on offer in both Boots and Superdrug for 2 for £7/£6 if you are interested in picking up a shade or two.

Have you tried these? What did you think?
