I have had the Smoky palette for a couple of months now but I finally decided that I had to have the Naked 3 Palette from Urban Decay in my collection. It wasn't until last year that I actually started wearing eyeshadow daily and since then I have been trying to grow my collection. The Urban Decay Naked palettes are a must have in anyones makeup collection and definitely worth the investment.
The Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette has 12 gorgeous eyeshadows all with rose hued shades from pale shades to deep, there is a shadow for every eye look. The palette has a good mixture of matte and shimmer shades and doesn't have any of the shades from any of the other Naked palettes, all of these shades are exclusive to this palette! When I was thinking of ordering this palette last month I was stuck between the Original and the 3, I almost ended up ordering both but I am so happy I decided on the 3 as I have used nothing else since it arrived!
Included in the box along with the palette was four samples of the eyeshadow primer from Urban Decay and a double ended brush inside the palette. I really like the packaging of this palette as it can go in my makeup bag and I won't have to worry about it getting damaged as it made of a hard plastic. The brush included in the palette is surprisingly good, its pretty soft and works well to apply the shadows. This palette has the perfect mixture of shades and finishes making the my perfect palette for me. I have always preferred warmer toned eyeshadows as they compliment my skin tone and eye colour better. I had always thought pink toned eyeshadows wouldn't suit me but I have already got so much use out of this palette! The 12 shadows have a mixture of finishes from mattes, metallics and pearls. All of the shades are incredibly pigmented and are buttery soft.
I must admit while these shadows are really pigmented, easy to apply, buttery soft and so bendable as you would expect from Urban Decay. I have been using Colourpop eyeshadows for so long that I was actually disappointed in the pigmentation at first because nothing beats Colourpop shadows as they are so intensely pigmented. However since I have been using this palette everyday I have gotten used to using these shadows and love the pigmentation. My favourite shades from the palette are Strange, Trick and Mugshot. There are so many different eye looks that you can create with this palette as there are lighter and darker shades.
These eyeshadows are so long lasting on my lids and in the crease, even without primer! I know I am going to get so much use out of this palette, especially in the Summer as these shadows are perfect for Summer looks. I do think Urban Decay eyeshadow palettes are worth investing in, especially of you can find a good discount code like I did, as you get such brilliant shades and its nice to have all of the shadows in once place!
