Having tried out one of the Joan Collins Lipsticks, I knew I wanted to try more from the range. These two products have been great for this time of year for setting and perfecting my makeup. I have to say, I have been really impressed with the beauty products from Joan Collin's Timeless Beauty range and I wish I hadn't overlooked the products as I have been missing out!
The Impeccable Finish Loose Powder has been my go to loose powder for a few weeks now and I do really like it! This is a translucent powder which I really like as it actually mimics the skin tone to suit the skin tone and flatter your skin. This loose powder from my experience is great to set foundation and concealer under the eyes. This powder feels light on the skin and blends well to provide a natural and long lasting finish. This powder can help keep those normally shiny zones a little mattified for longer and can help balance sebum, enhance the skin's appearance while setting your makeup.
I am a huge fan of loose powders and this is one of my favourites. The main reason I love this so much is that it has a smoothing effect on the skin and I had even noticed it to help minimise the appearance of my pores and finer lines. I have some acne issues too and I found that this powder helped hide them slightly while keeping my complexion oil free for many hours! I love that this helps mattify the skin while providing a natural looking finish. This retails for £24 - HERE.
The Ten Effects Skin Treat & Makeup Fixer is my go to setting spray at the moment and I have been so impressed with it. The spitz itself isn't a fine one so I would recommend holding it a little further away from the face than usual but it doesn't leave your face feeling soaked like some setting spray can do. This product is perfect to use when I feel that I have applied a little too much powder and helps balance it out and it really helps make my makeup last longer and lock it in place. This product even has skin benefiting properties such as minimising pores and firming the skin with the delicate rose scent. This is suitable for sensitive skin and will suit all skin types. This retails for £20 - HERE.
