For years i have been searching for the perfect foundation, concealer and powder combo and i think my search is finally over! It wasn't until i took the pictures for this post that i actually noticed that the two main products are from the same range which might be why i have been getting my foundation looking so good, if i do say so myself! All but one product is from the drug store/high street, im all about spending less pennies and what is even better is that all of these products each cost me under £5, can't go wrong with that!
The foundation tools.
I start of by applying my under eye concealer, my all time favourite is the Garnier roller ball, i apply a good amount under my eyes to cover up my bags and dark circles and blend in with my finger, whilst blending in a take a little on to my eye lids to cover up any discolouration i might have.
Next up i apply concealer for any spots for redness, i am currently using an illamasqua one, this works wonders and gets rid of all redness and hides any of my ugly spots! I then use the ecotools brush to blend in the concealer using circler motions.
I then squeeze a little over a pea size amount of Rimmel Stay Matte Foundation onto the back of my hand, then put equal amounts with my finger onto my cheeks, chin and forehead. Then using the Real Techniques Expert Face Brush, i blend in the foundation for a flawless finish. This foundation is high coverage and will cover up any imperfections i might have missed with the concealer. I then go and buff in the foundation like i did with the concealer with the ecotools brush.
Finally i apply the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder to set my foundation with the Real Techniques Powder Brush, this powder is great for setting foundation and for touch ups through out the day!
