Good Things 5 Minute Face Mask | Review

I have been having a few problems with my skin lately which im pretty sure is down to the crappy weather in the UK so i had been on the hunt to find some products that would help sort my horrible skin out. When i saw this as a very treat (a free gift with order when you spend x amount) i knew i had to give this face mask a try! This is the Good Things Five Minute Facial Face Mask with super fruit extracts of Avocado and Goji Berry. Woah, that was a mouth full, one of the main things that attracted me to want to try this is that it is free from Parabens, Sodium Laureth Sulphate, Mineral Oils and Animal Ingredients and is suitable for Vegans and Vegetarians which is always a bonus.

One of the first things i noticed about this product is the smell, it smells lovely! Its not over powering and it's smells like berries which i like!  Even when you wash the mask off it still has a slight scent to the skin but nothing that is noticeable to yourself too much!

This mask is clay based so after about five minutes it will harden on your skin, when i wash it off i would use a muslin cloth because it can be a little difficult to get the mask off from around your nose. What i love about this mask is while it hardens, it sucks out the crap basically that's in my skin, my skin instantly looks better after using this, my redness is reduced and the first time i used this i had a massive lump type spot on my chin (they are so painful) and this mask made it go down quite a bit and stopped the pain!

The mask after just over five minutes

The one thing i would say about this mask is it does make your skin really dry so i would put a thick layer of moisturiser on after if you use it at night and the next morning your skin is all lovely and brightened and clearer!

I use this at least once a week but if im having a bad skin day i will use this to help the clear up of my skin speed up a little bit! I would recommend this face mask if you are in the market for a new one i will be repurchasing this as soon as i run out of this mask. You can purchase this face mask from Sainsburys, Boots and Tescos for around £5.99 depending on where you purchase from.

Have you tried this face mask before? What did you think of it?

  1. I love the clay mask, but if it's drying I don't know if it would be any good for a skin. Great review though.

  3. This looks and sounds great. I currently use Origins Clear Improvements mask, I wonder how this would compare. For £5.99 I am tempted!
