Review: Bourjois Blush Exclusif

When I first heard about this, I was quite excited having seen it in a couple of YouTube videos and on a few different blogs but having tried it a couple of times I'm not really impressed with it. When I got it I was surprised at how small it is and I'm not quite sure you would be able to actually get a full size brush into the product so my best bet was to apply it with my fingers. The outside of the packaging is a lovely silver metallic with a pink outlining and there is a magnetic closure to it so it quite easy to open.

The product itself is a one shade product and claims to give a 'bespoke pink'. I honestly don't think this is the case, when you swatch the blush it is actually a pinky purple dolly pink and when you apply it after a couple of minutes it just gets a little lighter. So on some level you do get a different shade but I have used this one a friend and she got the exact same colour as well. As I started to write this post, I accidentally took a chunk of product out with my nail and underneath the shade on the top is actually a lot lighter colour, a lot more milky. So it is a 'bespoke pink'? Or is it the more product you use the different shade you get? Having basically just said that it didn't work for me, I still liked the shade it gave off but I just don't think it lived up to that claim.

This product is a cream but dries to a powder finish which I agree with and actually like, I find cream blushes a little hard to work with depending on the product as some times they can be a little bit on the dry side or hard to blend. I would defiantly recommend working with this blush quickly as it can be a bit of a pain to blend.

The lasting power was okay, it lasted until about 5pm when I apply at about 7am before I needed to reapply the product.

I'm not sure I would recommend this product even though the colour it gives off is nice and I liked the finish, I just don't think it lived up to its claims for me.

Have you tried this? What did you think?
