Benefit POREfessional: License to Blot

5 July 2015

This product couldn't have come at a better time for me, with the heat wave we had last week and the generally warmer weather it is safe to say my face has been looking like a shine machine. Benefit recently released a new product to the POREfessional range, License to Blot! I haven't actually seen too many reviews on this so I didn't really know what to expect but having been using it for the past few weeks I have really been enjoying it.
Benefit POREfessional: License to Blot

I was lucky enough to receive a mini size which is perfect for my handbag and it hasn't really left my handbag since. License to Blot is an oil blotting stick, think blotting papers in solid form, which has tiny invisible blotting spheres which mattifies shine for up to six hours after each application. The full size comes in a triangular form which will fit perfectly around the chin, nose and forehead.
While my skin doesn't tend to be extremely oily on a daily basis when the Summer hits my skin looks like a shiny mess so this came at the perfect time to put it to the test! This really does work I must admit, but you have to get the application right or it might be a disaster. To apply it you gently dab it onto the face where you are oily, do not rub it onto the skin or disaster happens. It took me a couple of times to figure out how to use it because I don't like to read instructions - opps.

Once dabbed onto the oily areas my skin was left instantly matte which I love. I had to go and pick some family up from the airport and I was a bit of a sweaty mess and forgot to bring any make up to touch up with but I had this and I looked as good as knew. It doesn't make my foundation shift or come off where I apply it which I really liked as you can pretty much apply this without a mirror and not have to worry about looking like a state. It was the hottest day of the year last week and I am so glad I had this in my handbag to save my make up!

If you get quite oily skin I was give this a try because it does do a good job and at £15.50 I don't think that is too expensive as it should last a while!

The Benefit POREfessional: License to Blot retails for £15.50 - link.
