Using oils on my hair is a daily must have, I have very long hair which I use quite a lot of heat on and not to mention I also dye it so I always need a product that will inject the moisture back into my hair. I had been eyeing this OGX Renewing Moroccan Argan Oil on the shelf for a while now but there was some kind of deal on where I ended up getting it for free! I am quite picky when it comes to hair products, I do have a favourite hair oil which I have used pretty much all of 2014 so I was hoping this would become a new favourite.
The packaging is very simple and similar to the other products from the brand. The name of the product is clear at the top with a small description on the front of the bottle. The bottle is made of plastic and has a very strong cap which would make this product perfect for travelling. The product itself comes in a pretty big size at 100ml so this oil will last me forever. The only thing I wish this product had was a pump, I found it quite difficult to get the right amount of product which did result in a little bit being wasted.
The oil has a slight man fragrance to it which I really like, it only slightly lingers in the ends of the hair so if you don't like the scent it isn't something to massively worry about. I noticed a massive improvement in the ends of my hair, it is so glossy looking at shiny which I was really impressed with. Because the product doesn't have a pump it did mean a lot of the time I ended up using too much product which really weighed down my hair and made it a little bit sticky. I would definitely recommend using a small amount of this because it does tend to make the ends feel horrible if you use too much. Even though I have stopped using it for the past couple of days and gone back to my old favourite, my hair has felt so much stronger and I put it all down to this oil.
I would recommend this product if you have quite dry hair but make sure you only use a small amount, around a pea size, for all of your ends. This size bottle retails for £6.99 I picked mine up from Tesco but there is many other stockists much as Feel Unique.
Have you tried this oil? What did you think?
