Smokey Eye Look with Yves Rocher

No evening out or event is complete without a smokey eye. Yves Rocher is a brand that I am pretty new to and I can't believe it has taken me to long to try some products. I have been playing around with these four beautiful products to create the perfect smokey eye in only a few minutes. I am not that great with applying eye shadow but I think I did a pretty good job and will do this look many more times I'm sure.

The 01 Grey Eyeshadow Quad* is stunning. It has four beautiful eyeshadows, my favourite shade in the palette is the highlight, it is so pretty when applied to the brow bone and to the inner corner. All of the eyeshadows are very well pigmented and blend together so well. The shadows are buttery soft too which makes me want to get other colour combinations of this palette! This beautiful quad retails for £25 and has some of the best packaging I have ever seen! The Fixing Eyelid Primer* is incredible stuff, it applies with a slightly concealer like colour which when it is blended out does leave any colour. It leaves my eyelids neutralised from any discolouration and smoothes out my lids making them ready for eyeshadow, this primer retails for £12.50. The Creamy Kohl* is a product that I have never tried anything like before and I have fallen slightly in love with it. It is so intensely pigmented yet so creamy at the same time and applies like a dream! This eyeliner kohl retails for £15.90. The final product I have to create this look is the Volume Vertige Mascara*. I really like this mascara because of its wand. It is plastic but shaped like no other mascara I have tried and makes my lashes look so natural while adding some volume. This mascara retails for £22

To create this look I started by applying the Fixing Eyelid Primer all over my eye lids and into the crease and blending it out. I then took the second shade on the top row all over my lid and took the first shade on the bottom row and applied it to my crease and then blended them out. I then took the highlight shade and applied it too my brow bone and inner corner. For liner on the lid I used the fourth shade in the eyeshadow palette and used a small angled brush to create a slight wing. To deepen up the lower lash line I took the Creamy Kohl and applied it to just below the water line and blended it out. To complete the smokey look I applied a good amount of the Volume Vertige Mascara!

All of these products mentioned, as well as many other products from the brand, are available on the Yves Rocher website
