With the sun being out must days in the UK, I needed to update my nails with some bright fun colours. I love painting my nails but I do wish I could do some nail art so bright nails will have to do for me! I have found some great bright nail polishes which are perfect for Summer on those fingers and toes. All but one of these nail polishes is under £5 so it is pretty budget friendly, which in my mind means I can buy more shades because they are cheap - I can't be the only one who's brain works like this!
From Left to Right: China Glaze Diasy Know My Name?, Rimmel Oragina, Nails Inc Kensington Passage, Barry M Get Set Go, Barry M Cancun, Barry M Damson.
Three nail polishes are all slightly similar as they are from the pink/orange family however on the nails they look completely different so I could justify purchasing them all. The first one is the most expensive in this post and it is from Nails Inc in the shade Kensington Passage. This is a gorgeous orange shade (third shade in the swatches) and looks so pretty on the nails. I am not normally an orange fan but because it as a slight pinkness to it I like it. Another orange nail polish is the Rimmel London Rita Ora Polish in 413 Oragina. This is a pastel orange and it goes so nicely with a tan. This polish is very long lasting and I managed to get around five days of full wear before it started to chip which I was very impressed with. The final one from this colour family is form Barry M's Speedy Quick Dry Collection in Get Set Go. This one is a bright pink and as it is from the Speedy collection, it fully dries within a few minutes which is why I love this collection so much. This is a gorgeous shade for toes and it has been on mine for a couple of weeks so far and I am really enjoying it.
I only picked one matte nail polish because they tend to chip quickly on me but this shade is just too nice not to include. And it is the Barry M Matte Polish in Cancun. The swatch does make it look sheer and you do need three coats with this one to get the full colour that is in the bottle but as it is matte it dries so quickly so I didn't find it to be an issue. This is such a unique colour and I really have nothing like it in my collection. Its a gorgeous shade of green and would be a gorgeous shade for an accent nail. If you not into matte finish you could just pop some glossy top coat on.
The next one is another Barry M and it is from the Gelly collection in the shade Damson. Blue nail polishes have to be one of my favourite shade families and this one is one of my favourites. I picked it up last summer because I thought it was similar to another Barry M I had but it ended up being completely different in all the right ways. It is bright yet muted so it looks gorgeous with a tan. In the sunlight it looks so pretty. As it is a Gelly finish nail paint it is extremely glossy.
The final nail polish is by far the brightest and might actually be my current favourite. I picked this up for Summertime Ball and it is the China Glaze polish in Daisy Know My Name?. This polish is from the new Electric Nights collection and it is so neon! It looks incredible in the sunshine and it really looks neon in the sun. When out of the sun it still looks like a pretty yellow shade. I managed to pick this one up for the bargain price of £3.95 here.
