2016 Travel Bucket List

With 2016 almost here I have been thinking a lot about what my new years resolutions should be and creating a little bucket list of things I would love to do and achieve in 2016. I must admit I am not the best at sticking to goals but doing a bucket list I love because I like to tick off things and helpfully in 2016 many things will be ticked!
2016 Travel Bucket List
Living in England I take for granted the country I live in and totally forget that there is so many places I have never visited. To be quite honest, I haven't really been to any of the main cities apart from London and briefly Birmingham but I didn't really get too see anything because I was only there for one day and was inside for most of it. But in 2016 that is going to change! I think it is great to have little staycations and explore the wonderful country we live in. With there being over 500 Travelodge hotels, there is always a place to spend the night while I am exploring the UK. Here is my travel bucket list for 2016...

1. Edinburgh: This is my number one because the Edinburgh Zoo has Panda's. If you know anything about me you will know that Panda's are all my all time favourite animal and it has been on my bucket list to see them with my own eyes for years so it would be ticking two things off my bucket list at once! I would love to visit the Edinburgh Castle too.

2. Newcastle: I still can't believe I have never been here! One of the main reasons I would love to visit Newcastle is for the Metrocentre which is one of the top ten largest shopping centres in Europe! Best start saving up some money so I can shop until I drop when I hopefully visit Newcastle!

3. Manchester: Earlier on this year I started talking to the lovely Anastasia (Dainty Desires) and we have become good friends and I always love having a chat with her so I would love to go to Manchester to meet her while I am there. If you live in Manchester I would love some recommendations of things to do and places to eat and hopefully I can do some of them when I hopefully get up to Manchester!

4. Birmingham: As I mentioned I have only briefly been to Birmingham and I didn't get to see anything so I would love to go back and spend a few days there and explore. I can't believe Birmingham have Cadbury World, Cadbury chocolate is my absolute favourite so I would definitely have to visit.

5. Portsmouth: My cousins actually live in Portsmouth so it would be great to go and visit them for the weekend as it isn't too long of a drive from me and they could show me around.  My cousin absolutely loves the sea so I am sure that is one of the first things she would take me to see. I would love to go and visit the birthplace of Charles Dickens' museum while I am there as well as the Emirates Spinnaker Tower.

6. Norwich: Many of my friends and family have visited Norwich and they have convinced me that it is finally time in 2016 for me to visit. With the likes of Tanya Burr and Jim Chapman being from Norwich and seeing it in their vlogs, each time I watch one of their videos it makes me want to visit more and more.

Are there any cities in the UK that you haven't visited yet but would like to?
