My skin is very troublesome at the moment, so any products I can find that will help keep my spots away is a rare product to come by. I have tried so many different products that will minimise my spots and one of the only brands that work for me is La Roche Posay. Serozinc is one product that I have heard nothing but good things about so I was excited to put it to the test and see if it is worth all of the hype.
Serozinc is a toning mist enriched with zinc sulphate to purify blemished-prone, troublesome skin. This product is created with just three ingredients, the La Roche Posay thermal spring water, healing zinc sulphate and astringent sodium chloride. These three ingredients together target spots/blemishes, marks and excess oiliness to ensure that the skins complexion feels fresh and comfortable at any time throughout the day. This product is hypoallergenic, non perfumed and suitable for acne-prone skin.
How I like to use this product is as a toner between cleansing and moisturising the skin as part of my morning routine. If my skin is having a very bad break out I will use this as part of my evening routine too followed by the Effaclar Duo+. This can also be used throughout the day as and when needed. I have used this a couple of times during the day if my skin is much oilier but I don't want to apply more powder.
This product leaves my skin feeling refreshed and reduces any excess oil almost instantly. If I am having a no makeup day my skin tends to get extremely oily throughout the day so I will use this to freshen up my skin and it leaves it feeling much more comfortable. I have noticed since I have been using this every morning that my skin has been much better and I have had less spots and blemishes. My marks, especially on my chin, have reduced massively. I think this would be a perfect product during the Summer months as well when my skin does get even oilier and needs a pick me up throughout the day.
I do think its worth giving a try and using it as part of your skincare routine if you do have blemish-prone skin or have very oily skin that needs a pick me up throughout the day. The La Roche Posay Serozinc retails for £8.50 but is currently just £5.66 on the Escentual website until the 19th of January 2016 - link.
