Five Minute Makeup

Durinng the summer months I hate spending too much time applying makeup as I would much rather be outside enjoying the sun. Not to mention 80% of the time it just melts off anyway even if I do use a good setting spray! I have been managing to do my makeup in around five minutes and I am so happy with the look that I create, its very simple and perfect for everyday.

I have finally got my skin back under control so I am back to only wearing concealer and a bit of powder instead of foundation. This is great for the summer as it doesn't leave my skin feeling heavy and I don't have to worry so much about it melting off throughout the day. The concealer I use under my eyes is the Bourjois Radiance Reveal Concealer, this does a great job at brightening and concealing my dark circles. For any discolouration and redness I have been using the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer, I use the Beauty Blender to apply and blend out both concealers. I then go in with a quick sweep of powder using the Makeup Revolution Pressed Powder in translucent.

As it is summer I like to look as bronzed as possible so I have bee using the Glow Fusion Bronzer in Luminous. I have been applying this to the cheeks instead of blush and to the high points of the face and anywhere which the sun would naturally hit the face. I am never complete without some highlighter and I have been obsessed with the theBalm Mary Lou again, this works so well with my skintone. And thats my face/base done all within just a few minutes.

The longest part of doing my makeup is my brows as they need all the help they can get! For brows I have been using the Benefit Goof Proof. I was a little on the fence about this when I first got it but as long as I don't touch my brows throughout the day they look fine. For my eyes I always need winged liner and the Lancome Grandiose Liner has become holy grail status for me already! It is intensely black, lasts all day and is so quick and easy to use. For lashes I have been using the YSL Baby Doll Mascara, this mascara makes my lashes super long without making them look clumpy no matter how many layers I wear. To finish off my quick makeup look for the day, I take one of the Sleek Power Plump Lip Crayons and I am ready to head out the door and enjoy the sunshine!
