I am a huge fan of the limited edition collections from KIKO, I still use products every day from the Summer collection and the Neo Noir Collection. The Christmas collection from KIKO for this holiday season in true KIKO style, has such lovely packaging and a great range of products so you are bound to find a product for you.
Swatched: 01 Lively Coral Blush, Eyeshadow & Eye Pencil in 03, Lip Kit in Dreamlike Rose.
I have just a small selection of the products from this years KIKO Christmas collection and I have been enjoying using them so much! I also have my eyes on a few more products such as the eyeshadow palettes. All of the products in the collection have had their packaging revamped and have been exclusively designed by Ross Lovegrove. Almost all of the products have super festive packaging with a red theme while still having an elegant overall look.
The Highlighting Baked Blush in 01 Lively Coral is unlike any coral shade I have in my collection as it adds such a gorgeous glow to the cheeks. This blush does feel quite powdery to the touch but that doesn't translate to the skin once applied. This is a very light shade which I am obsessed with as I do have a pale skin tone and find many blushes to be too dark sometimes but this is a great blush to quickly apply in the morning and I don't have to worry as I know no matter how much I apply it won't be too dark.
The Intense Colour Lip Kit in 01 Dreamlike Rose is the nude option out of the few that are available, if a nude option isn't for you, they also have more dramatic shades available! Inside the box, you get one lipstick with a matte finish as well as a lip liner. Both shades work brilliantly together and I love that the lip liner is a touch darker than the lipstick. Both products glide onto the lips and are very comfortable throughout the wear. I didn't find the lipstick to be drying on the lips which I was impressed with as I find almost of matte lipsticks to be quite drying.
The Long Hold Stick Eyeshadow & Eye Pencil in 03 is going to be used so much during the festive period I can already tell. On one end is an incredibly creamy black eyeliner that glides onto the skin but sets down after a few minutes and does not budge. On the opposite end is a stunning silver with a slight hint of purple cream eyeshadow stick. Just like the eyeliner this shade is super creamy and glides onto the lid, I love pairing this with a matte shade in the crease with a touch of the black eyeliner. One of the main things I like about the eyeshadow end is that it doesn't feel greasy on the eyes.
Finally, I have one of the nail polishes from this collection in the shade 01 Pleasant Silver Rose which is a gorgeous silver almost lilac glitter shade. I love wearing glitter nail polish all year round but especially at Christmas, you can't go wrong with a bit of glitter at Christmas! This shade looks so pretty as a top coat over a creamy shade or it looks great on its own once I have applied a few coats to get more glitter on the nails. Glitter nail polish is so long lasting and even when it starts to chip you can't notice as much as you would with a cream nail polish shade.
