Blank Canvas Brushes & Sponge

I have always really liked everything that I have tried from the Blank Canvas brand so I couldn't wait to start using a few more tools! The F39 brush from the brand is one of my must-have brushes for any powder applications and who doesn't want super cute brushes? These three new additions to my collection have already been put to great use!

Blank Canvas have a gorgeous line of metallic brushes which I would personally say are much better than the Real Techniques Bold Metals brushes as they are much better quality and are prettier. I have a couple of these brushes already and the F20 and F06 are my new additions. One thing to mention about Blank Canvas brushes is that they are anti-bacterial and vegan-friendly so anyone can use them. These brushes are completely metallic with the handle and ferrels matching and the brushes themselves are super soft and always wash so well and hold up their shape.

The F06 Brush in the Purple metallic finish is for foundation and contour applications. This brush has a sloped edge and has been crafted to be used for different types of products. Due to the shape, it will be good for the contours of your face and is great to use with cream, powder and gel products. I have been loving using this brush for foundation applications. I love this brush for blending foundation around the chin and nose as the sloped edge makes it so easy. The F20 Brush is in a copper/rose gold metallic finish is a buffing brush perfect for applying any types of liquid, cream or powder products. This is the perfect brush to apply or buff product to into the skin and while it is fairly dense it also has come give in it. I find this brush provides a great high coverage when I use it to apply any of my foundations.

The Airbrush Blender Sponge is similar to the Real Techniques sponge but I find that this one doesn't suck up so much of your foundation like the RT one does. This one has a pointed tip which is great to apply and blend your foundation around the nose and under the eyes but it also has a flat edge to really press product into the skin. While this sponge is good for applying liquid foundations, I love it for applying loose powder under the eyes to bake and it makes such a difference. Just like many makeup sponges when you make it damp it does expand in size and I always prefer to use my sponges damp.
