It's safe to say that I have been a little spendy again this month - oops! In all fairness, it was my birthday and I had saved some money to have a birthday splurge and I had had my eyes on a few of these products for a while now. If you have seen last month's collective haul, you can check that out here as I got some really great products last month too!
Right at the end of last month, I ordered the Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer as well as Mineral Glow Pearls Powder Palette but as they were shipped over from America they arrived at the beginning of this month. I have been obsessed with the bronzer, it smells incredible and I really want to get my hands on the Butter Blushes soon. If you are after these two products, I highly recommend ordering from iHerb - the shipping cost is so cheap! The next thing I bought was the Mario Badescu Rose Water Spray, I did get the smaller size as I wasn't sure if I was going to like it but I love it! I have been using this before I apply my makeup, to set my makeup, to dampen brushes, you name it I use it!
I popped into TK Maxx to see if they had any beauty bargains and I struck gold! I managed to pick up the Too Faced 3 Way Liner, a Melted Metallic Lipstick in Dream House and the Tony Moly Pocket Bunny Moist Mist for just £5.99 each. I love the Formula X Nail Polishes so I picked up another shade which is a lovely cream for just £2.99 each, I wish they had more colours as I would buy them all without a doubt as they are some of the best nail polishes I have ever tried. Speaking of nail polishes, I also got Essie Spin the Bottle, another Barry M Coconut Infusion and one of the new Frosted Cupcake polishes which are all fairly neutral shades. The final nail polish I picked up was just a bargain was it was on clearance for £3 in Boots and it is the Nails Inc Electric Lane Glitter Top Coat.
While I was in boots buying my nail polishes, I spotted the new L'Oreal Colorista Sprays for £6 each so I went ahead and got the Grey option. As my fair is almost black I wasn't sure if it would show up on me but I had seen some images on the display of it working on darker hair colours but so far, I am disappointed. I am going to try and use it a few different ways before I make up my mind fully. And then, I ordered two eyeshadow palettes. The first one was enabled by Chelsea who told me I had to have the Violet Voss Holy Grail Palette and she was right! It is such a gorgeous palette and I have already used it so much - review with swatches here. The other palette I picked up was the Too Faced Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar Palette. I recently received the original chocolate bar palette and I loved it so much so I had to buy the other, I can't get over how good these palettes smell, it's good enough to eat!
The final two things that I picked up were both from Kat Von D, the first was the Lock It Hydrating Primer and the second is one of the Everlasting Liquid Lipsticks in Lovestruck. I usually hate liquid lipsticks but I got a mini of the KVD one which I was so impressed with so I had to pick up a full-size shade, I know I will have to get another in March too as they are so comfortable and not at all drying on my lips.
What did you buy last month?
