I can't tell you how happy I am that Buxom is now being sold at Debenhams! I have been wanting to try out the brand for years and the day they launched, I ordered a lip gloss by 10 am and I have been obsessed with it ever since. I love lip glosses and I was on the lookout for a replacement for the Dior Lip Maximiser as I had run out of it and this hasn't left my lips.
The Full-On Lip Polishes are a best selling product in the USA and are essentially, a plumping lip gloss. I love anything that plumps the lips as I don't really like my lips and I have to say that this does work to help make the lips look fuller. This product is available in 32 shades all named with female names, I went for Sophia which is a gorgeous sweetheart pink. The only issue I have had with this lip gloss is trying to find swatches, I wish Debenhams would include swatches on the site as there isn't many on Google.
Each of the glosses from the range has been enriched with Vitamin A and E to help keep the lips soft, smooth and protected and have a refreshing tingling sensation that Buxom claim you won't be able to get enough of. These glosses have sheer coverage with a high shine, shimmery finish, this is exactly what I was looking for. It is perfect to keep in my handbag and use throughout the day and not have to worry if it matches my blush or eye looks as it will go with everything!
The packaging feels like great quality, has a great weight to it and I have had this in my handbag for a few weeks as I mentioned and I haven't noticed any of the outer design to rub off which I am so happy about! It has a doe foot applicator which is on the smaller side while being super soft, I like that it is smaller as it makes it much easier to apply the gloss to ensure that it doesn't go outside my lip line.
I love how this gloss feels on the lips and I have been obsessed with the tingling and slightly cooling sensation that it gives the lips. I do notice this gloss to slightly plump the lips, especially the top lip. Once on the lips, it doesn't feel at all sticky and it is a slightly thicker gloss which I like and as it is a gloss, it isn't going to be very long lasting but I love reapplying it for the tingling feeling! I haven't found it to be at all drying on the lips like some glosses can be, if anything they feel slightly more moisturised after an application! While it does have sheer coverage, you can still see the colour on the lips and it looks very natural with super shine.
If you can't already tell, I am obsessed and I already know that I am going to get a few more, I have my eyes on Jennifer next!
