I had only tried a couple of products from Milani until recently and three of these are brand new to me and I can't believe I hadn't tried them sooner! Milani is a much hyped and love brand in the US and is finally available in the UK at Beauty Base. I remember always heading to Beauty Base whenever I went to Westfield so I am so happy that they now stock one of my new favourite brands.
I love trying foundations as I am always on the hunt for a base product with good coverage. The Conceal and Perfect 2-in-1 Foundation and Concealer from Milani has had pretty good reviews. I went for the shade Creamy Vanilla which is suitable for fair skin tones with cool undertones and it is a pretty good match. This foundation does oxidise on the skin, I don't partially mind this as I can correct it with some powder and in the summer it will be the perfect match. This has amazing coverage and feels lightweight and doesn't look cakey on the skin in the slightest when I apply it with a Beauty Blender. This can cover any of my blemishes and discolouration well and does a good job under the eyes but I do like to still use a concealer under the eyes to brighten.
I have been obsessed with lip oils recently and Milani has a few different Moisture Lock Oil Infused Lip Treatments available and I decided on the Nourishing Raspberry option. The applicator on this oil is on the larger side but I still found it easy to apply the product to the lips and it is very soft. I found this oil to be very nourishing and hydrating on the lips with long-lasting effects and I love the hint of colour and gloss that it gives the lips. I love the scent of this too, it is delicious! I have tried a couple of the affordable lip oils available at the moment and this has quickly become one of my favourites and it has the best scent out of the ones I have tried.
I have been loving eyeshadow palettes at the moment and I pretty much only wear warm tones on the eyes as I find they suit my skin tone best. The 05 Earthy Elements Palette has seriously impressed me, I honestly wasn't expecting it to be as pigmented as it is! Inside the palette are six shades with a mixture of matte and metallic finishes and I love that on the back of the palette it has a step by step guide to give you an idea of what to do with the shadows. All of the shades in the palette are buttery soft and easy to apply and blend. I have got so much use out of it already and because it has a good selection of shades I find it really easy to create looks with.
