Festival Beauty with Essence

While I am not going on any Festivals this year, I am all about new makeup! Essence is one of my favourite makeup brands and they have some phenomenal products available at Wilko. These products are not only going to be perfect for any upcoming festivals you are attending but also for Summer too.

I have always been a lip gloss lover, I'm never without a few in my handbag and I just love how comfortable they are to wear as well as being so quick and easy to apply. The Essence Shine Shine Shine Lipglosses are just £2 and I would honestly pay so much more than that for these, they are better than many of my high-end lip glosses! This product is available in a great selection of shades and I have been loving 08 Indie Romance (everyday pink) and 12 Runway, Your Way (plum purple) and you can see in the swatches just how pigmented they are! These have a very yummy scent and are so smooth on the lips without being sticky! The applicator is the perfect size and so soft.

I have always loved blue eyeliner and the Essence Kajal Pencil Liners are only £1 each!! The shade 26 Beach Bum is a stunning blue shade and I have been wearing it along the lower lash line for a pop of colour. These liners are very creamy and don't tug at all at the skin or waterline as you apply them. Even though they are creamy, they don't budge once applied. Essence has a tonne of mascaras available and All Eyes On Me Multi Effect Mascara is what I have been using on the lower lash line. As it is a waterproof formula you don't have to worry about it budging throughout the day and it coats the lashes well without making them look clumpy. This mascara retails for just £2, I also love the Lash Princess Mascara from Essence too and I know Nikki Bella, my favourite WWE wrestler uses the I Love Extreme Volume Mascara so I need to try that one next!

The star of the show is the Prismatic Rainbow Glow Highlighter, the swatch really doesn't do this any justice! Rainbow highlighters are everywhere at the moment and this is one of the most wearable ones available and it's only £3.50! When you mix the four shades together it creates an iridescent, prismatic glow to the cheekbones, I feel like a unicorn when I wear this! It's very lightweight on the skin and doesn't look at all powdery once applied. It is buildable too and I just can't get over how unique the colour is!

I have been talking a lot about nail polishes lately and Essence have some amazing ones that don't get talked about enough! The Gel Nail Polish line is one of my favourites, there are so many shades to chose from and the two I have been using lately are 86 My Sparkling Darling (pink glitter) and 93 Eclectic Blue (baby blue). These nail polishes are just £1.60 each and you only need two coats to achieve the colour in the bottle and they have a quick drying time and a high shine finish.

I have fallen in love with the Out of Space Stories range and 01 Outer Space is the Place is such a unique prismatic/holographic nail polish! I need to get a few more shades from the line as they are unlike anything I have in my collection. I am terrible at nail art and the Essence Nail Art Stickers come in so handy! They have a few different styles available and Cut Out Manicure Stencils for just £1 really caught my attention. These make nail art so much easier.
