I am obsessed with lip products, I have enough to last a lifetime but I can't stop myself from trying out more! Collection is one of my favourite brands on the high street and these lipsticks sounded so impressive that I had to give them a try. Collection is so affordable and you can't really go wrong with their products, I am obsessed with their eyeliners!
Swatched (top to bottom): Blissful Peach, Cherished Pink, Berry Blush & Plum Diva.
These lipsticks are fairly new from Collection and I really love the packaging, I think they look much more expensive than just £3.99 each and the tubes themselves feel of good quality which I was impressed with. I really like the shape of the bullet too as I find it easier to apply and only need to do one swipe before heading out the door. This line of Lip Colours with SPF 15 consists of six shades and I have been testing out four of them. These lipsticks claim to be a wash of colour on the lips but you can see in the swatches just how intensely pigmented they are! If you love a bold lip, you are going to fall in love with these.
These lipsticks feel like a balm on the lips, they are very lightweight and glide on with ease. I really like the texture of these lipsticks as they are so smooth, I'm not usually a fan of the way lipstick feels on the lips so I love that these actually feel like a balm! It's a great bonus that they have SPF in as there is nothing worse than sunburnt lips and even though we are now in Autumn, it is still important to wear SPF. They have a nice scent to them too which is always great if you ask me! Each of the shades in this range has a pearly, sheeny finish on the lips and a hydrating feel.
I think Collection have got the shade range pretty spot on as they have included a classic red and nude as well as shades perfect for Autumn and a bright pink which is great for Summertime. My favourite two shades are Plum Diva which is a deep plum and Berry Blush which is a darker pink with hints of purple/plum, these are the kinds of shades I love to wear at this time of year! Because these lipsticks are so hydrating and feel like a balm on the lips, I was expecting them to bleed outside the lipline but I haven't had any issues. I find them to be fairly long-lasting too, I find the darker shades leave a slight tint behind on the lips and I really like this about them as you don't have to rush to reapply.
The Collection Lip Colours are available at Superdrug for £3.99 each - HERE.
