Prepare yourself...today may be Halloween but tomorrow, I get FESTIVE! If you follow me on Twitter, you will know how much I love Christmas and the holiday season officially starts for me tomorrow. This past month I have only had a few favourites but these have become holy grails for me and I know I will be repurchasing once I run out!
My first favourite this month has been the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette. I own both of the chocolate bar palettes and even though I love super warm tones like the Semi-Sweet, I have found myself using the original almost every day this month. I love that the shadows are scented and this has been my go-to palette for the whole of this month. My favourite shades from this palette are the matte ones and I have worn a completely matte eye for almost all of this month and then going all out on highlighter. If you haven't tried any of the Too Faced palettes, I have never been disappointed and would recommend!
I used to be obsessed with the Dior Lip Maximizer (you can see I have actually almost finished it) and I decided to pull it back out a few weeks ago and I don't remember why I stopped using it! This is a slightly plumping lipgloss, that doesn't hurt the lips and has high shine once applied. I have been using this over my Glossier Generation G lipsticks and I love the way they look together. This is one of those glosses that plumps out the lines in your lips to make them appear bigger - I am all about the bigger looking lips without having to have injections! It isn't drying on the lips nor is it sticky feeling.
My next two favourites this month are both brow products, the first is the Eylure x Fleur de Force Brow Definer. I have been using a tonne of Eylure brow products for well over a year now and this is one of the newer launches from the brand and it hasn't left my makeup bag since it arrived! I love that it has two shades of brow pencil rather than one with a spoolie and it's not too creamy that it will move around throughout the day but it glides onto the skin. I have been using this to create a new arch for my brows as well as extend them, I already have a back up ready and waiting! The other brow favourite of mine this month is Benefit's Gimme Brow. I used to use this years ago and I found that I had a brand new one in my drawer and thought I would give it a try again and I haven't been disappointed! It adds fibres to my brows and does a great job at adding colour and volume to them.
Tarte Shape Tape has been a must-have for me ever since I got my hands on it back in April and I realised I hadn't spoken about it in a while so I thought I would give you an update! I am full on obsessed with this product, I think it has become holy grail status! This concealer has incredible coverage and is so long lasting on the skin. It's not until I remove my makeup that I notice just how great the coverage is. Even though it is on the thicker side, it doesn't crease at all throughout the day once I have set it with loose powder. My last beauty favourite this month is the Simple Water Boost Micellar Cleansing Water. I have always loved the Simple products but this product is such great stuff. It removes all of my makeup so easily and it doesn't irritate my eyes at all. It also has hydrating benefits and I always find my skin to be soft after each use.
My final favourite this month has been the Feather & Down Pillow Spray. I had been having trouble sleeping until I tried this out and honestly, I have never had such a good nights sleep until I started using this! I also have the balm from them which I love too but I notice the best results from the spray. It has a lovely, relaxing scent and as soon as my head hits the pillow, I fall asleep!
