Christmas Eve Makeup

I can't believe that it's Christmas Eve tomorrow, it has come around so quickly! Christmas Eve is my favourite day of the whole year, it's full of excitement and good food in our house. I thought I would share my makeup picks for tomorrow as I like to go all out on Christmas Eve, even though I'm not going anywhere as on Christmas Day I usually wear pyjamas all day!

I hate my pores and the Hylamide HA Blur is the best product I have ever used when it comes to blurring them. I have quite large pores and this primer is like a snapchat filter for my skin in real life! It blurs anything and everything and leaves my skin looking flawless ready for foundation. It lasts all day long and it has also been keeping my skin matte throughout the day. The current foundation I am using at the moment is The Ordinary Coverage Foundation. I got this a couple of months ago and I pulled it back out again and I have been really enjoying it. It has such great coverage and I love the way it looks and feels on the skin. It's been lasting much longer on my skin than when I previously tried it too which I'm happy about! For concealer I am still using my trusty Tarte Shape Tape, I can't get enough of this stuff! I use this under the eyes and it covers my dark circles fantastically well without looking or feeling heavy on the skin. I've heard the new Urban Decay concealer is better than this so I can't wait to get my hands on it and compare the two!

To set my base I have been obsessed with the Vichy Dermablend Setting Powder and I haven't stopped using it since I got my hands on it! This has become a staple in my makeup bag to set my whole face, including my under eyes. It leaves my skin looking matte and flawless without looking powdery. To bronze the skin I have been using the Too Faced Chocolate Bronzer since I picked it up in Sephora back in August. This warms the skin beautifully without looking muddy, it smells delicious too! To highlight I have fallen back in love with theBalm Mary-Lou Manizer again. This adds such a gorgeous glowy sheen to the skin and it's not as intense as the highlighters I had been using lately but I have been really liking how it looks on the skin. For the cheeks, I have been using my NARS Unfiltered II a lot again and I usually go for the lightest pink shade in the palette as it helps brighten the skin.

The brows are something I always spend a lot of time on and the only product I will ever use is the Eylure Brow Pomade. I can basically create brand new brows with this stuff and I haven't used anything else for over a year now. To set my brows into place I love the Glossier Boy Brow. I want to go all out on the eyes so the Violet Voss Holy Grail Palette has got to come out! This is a warm palette dream and I totally forgot about it until recently and I love to create a matte warm look complete with liner. I adore winged liner and I don't feel myself without it and the Kat Von D Tattoo Liner is a must. I treated myself to this at the beginning of the month and I had forgotten how good it is. And to finish off the eyes I will add a few coats of the Too Faced Better than Sex Mascara and pop a little bit of Glossier's Balm Dotcom to the lips and I am good to go!
