If you saw my recent Glossier haul, you'll know when this first launched I wasn't too fussed about trying it but then Lily (PintSizedTweets) got it and she convinced me that I needed it in my life. I usually hate trying out new body products but I have been really impressed with it and I can't wait to try out the Daily Perfecting Cream soon.
This is the Body Hero Daily Oil Wash that is part of the Duo of Body Hero products. What caught my attention with this product was the fact that it is an oil, I am so lazy when it comes to body care so I loved the idea of this hydrating the skin while cleansing. This has been inspired by oil cleansers for the face but made for your body. It contains a blend of seven oils to attract grime and sweat like a magnet, lifting them off the skin. It also contains 0% water so it won't affect the pH anywhere on your body. It's hypoallergenic, dermatologist tested, gynaecologist tested, soap free, paraben free while also being cruelty-free and vegan.
I adore this product. I know I am going to be buying this again once I run out as I have been enjoying it a lot more than I thought I would! The packaging is gorgeous, in true Glossier style with baby pink accents. The bottle is a really great size (you get 250ml of product) and I love the fact that they include a pump with every purchase of it! Having a pump minimises waste and makes it so much easier and quicker to use. I have tried a couple of different shower oils in the past but what makes this one stand out is that as it comes into contact with water, it turns into a soft, light froth that washes any dirt and residue away as you rinse. It's extremely nourishing on the skin and contains a combination of the most effective natural body moisturisers to soften the skin, such as Coconut and Olive oils.
This cleanses the skin well and adds moisture to the skin in one step! I have quite dry skin but I hate the way most moisturisers feel on the skin so I always skip that step but with this, I don't have too! I also have slightly sensitive skin so I was worried about this irritating it but I haven't had a single issue with it, only good results! This has really helped soften my skin and what I love about it the most is that the scent of the product actually lingers on the skin. It has an Orange Blossom Neroli blend for a soft, baby-fresh scent and I love how it smells on the skin! It's much more of a floral scent than I would usually go for but I am obsessed with it. Even though this is an oil, it doesn't leave the skin feeling greasy, just effortlessly hydrated and clean. During these cold months, this has been saving my skin, I am hooked.
