A Cleanse & Polish Dupe?

I love my Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish but it is quite expensive to repurchase every couple of months so when this so-called dupe arrived through my letterbox, I couldn't wait to put it to the test! I always get so excited trying out dupe products as I love to save money whenever I can.

Hot cloth cleansers are my favourite way to remove makeup, they make it so quick and easy! Superdrug skincare has always impressed me so I had high hopes for the Vitamin E Hot Cloth Cleanser. This comes in a huge 200ml size for just £4.99 and the packaging is simple yet effective. I love that it comes in a squeezy tube so you can get every last drop out. If you have ever tried a hot cloth cleanser before, this is a great place to start if you ask me!

Does it compare to Cleanse & Polish? It's a really good affordable option if you ask me, it's pretty close! It removes my makeup fantastically, even my many layers of mascara without irritating my eyes in the slightest. It's slightly creamier and thicker than Cleanse & Polish and it leaves the skin feeling incredibly smooth and soft! I was shocked at how soft my skin felt after the first use! I prefer the muslin cloth that you get with the Superdrug cleanser as it's much softer. This hot cloth cleanser is suitable for vegetarians and vegans while being rich in natural Vitamin E.

This cleanser is so easy to use, I take about a 10p size amount and massage it into dry skin to remove all traces of makeup. I then will use the muslin cloth included with hand hot water to gently remove all residue and makeup. I was surprised at just how well this stuff works and even more so that it doesn't irritate my eyes or sensitive skin. It breaks down makeup just as well as my Liz Earle version but I do find when I remove it all with the muslin cloth that it takes a little longer but with the massive price difference, I'm not complaining!
