Back in May of 2017 I wrote a review on the Abercrombie First Instinct fragrance (you can check that out here) and I was a massive fan of it, I still am to this day. Abercrombie has always been one of those brands since I was a teen that I loved, it's very my style and I have always adored the fragrances. The stores always smell incredible so it's no surprise I love the perfumes too. This is a brand new scent from Abercrombie that launches in a couple of weeks.
The Abercrombie & Fitch First Instinct Blue Women might be my signature scent. I have honestly never been one of those people that has a signature scent but this is me in a bottle and I think I could wear this every single day from now on. I have worn it every day since I received it and I still can't get enough of it. The First Instinct Blue Women fragrance has been designed to capture the brilliant personality of those who know how to make their dreams come true.
It features top notes of refreshing salted sea air, crisp bergamot and luscious blackberries with mid notes of velvety apricot nectar, blooming jasmine and dewy peonies. Completed with the base notes of woody patchouli, whipped vanilla and creamy sandalwood. All of these notes together create a gorgeous feminine and naturally fresh yet bright fragrance with touches of floral. I'm not usually one for floral scents but as this does have a freshness to it with some fruity notes that work so well together, it's something that I do really love.
I love the bottle of this fragrance, it's the same style and shape of the First Instinct fragrance but this one has a blue theme rather than soft pink. The bottle has a slightly curved front with a rippling surface. It's really easy to hold and looks gorgeous sitting out on display. It features a silver logo plaque that you would find at A&F stores around the world. This is a stronger scent that isn't overpowering but has incredible lasting power. I can spritz this on at 6 am and I will still be able to smell it towards the early evening, it lasts even longer on clothing too! I spritzed this onto one of my sweatshirts and days later when I decided I actually wanted to wear it, I could still smell it!
The Abercrombie & Fitch First Instinct Blue Women fragrance launches nationwide from the 30th of July 2018. It retails for £35 (30ml), £50 (50ml) and £68 (100ml).
