I haven't tried a new eyeshadow palette in ages and when I spotted this online, I fell in love with it and then the lovely people over at Crown Brush sent it over as a surprise - how lovely is that. I have been incredibly impressed with this palette and I honestly can't believe how affordable it is!
This is the brand new Crown Brush Fuego Eyeshadow Palette that's made up of gorgeous rich-warm toned shades. If you know anything about me, you'll know I am obsessed with anything warm toned! They're the only kind of eyeshadows I like to wear so this palette is my dream. This is one of those palettes that you can create so many different looks with, without having to worry if the shades go together as they all work so well together! This shadows in this palette are incredibly well made and are genuinely better than some of my £40+ palettes which is insane.
The palette itself is made of a durable black cardboard with copper accents and a strong magnetic closure. Inside the palette is a decent sized mirror for on the go applications and the backing of the palette where the shadows are housed is that gorgeous highly reflective copper. Even though it is made of cardboard, I honestly don't think you would have any issues if you did travel with it or keep it in your makeup bag. The pan sizes are on the bigger side and I love this as it makes it so much easier to dip your brushes into them.
Included in the palette is six matte shades and four shimmer shades, I love that they have included more mattes than shimmers as with a lot of my palettes it's usually the other way around and I always find myself having to use another palette for matte shades. Each of the eyeshadows is incredibly pigmented, super soft and smooth as well as being incredibly easy to blend. It's honestly the best palette yet from Crown!
I have found that some matte eyeshadows in palettes just aren't as easy to work with as some shimmer shades but that isn't the case with these ones! All of the eyeshadows compliment each other fantastically well and even though you only get 10 shadows, there are so many different looks you can create. You can easily create looks perfect for daytime or deeper, bolder looks for the evening. I have been using this palette pretty much every single day lately and I never use any eyeshadow primer and they last all day without fading or creasing.
