Christmas scents are one of my favourite things about the holiday season. I'm always so happy when they start to be released and this year, Flamingo Candles has so many fantastic ones to chose from! Half of these were sent to me and I actually ordered a few as well as I can't get enough of the wax melts.
Wax melts are one of my favourite ways to add a fragrance to the home. I have a few electric warmers and all you have to do is pop one of these melts in and you are good to go! You can get tea light warmers as well but I prefer the electric ones as I never have to worry about running out of tea lights. The wax melts from Flamingo Candles are extremely affordable at £1 each and there are so many scents available, not just festive ones!
I love anything with peppermint in so I was really intrigued by Candy Cane Prosecco and I am so impressed with the scent! It's a blend of peppermint and sparkling wine and you can really smell the sparkling note in this melt. The Cocofrost scent melt is something I knew I was going to love as I have one of the candles in this scent. This isn't a traditional Christmas scent but I love the fruitiness of it. Frosted Candy Apple is another fruity scent that I have fallen in love with. This is a perfect mix of fruit and sweet scent notes with apple soaked in warm salted caramel with notes of creamy vanilla and musk.
Sweet scents are my favourite for the Christmas season and winter months and the White Hot Chocolate & Cookies is a brand new scent for this year and I can't get enough! This is a candle wax with white cocoa combined with Christmas cookies straight from the oven with a sweet blend of biscuits and creamy vanilla. It's absolutely delicious! I think you might know already by now how much of a fan of the Ice Queen scent I am, I can't stop talking about it. It has notes of bubblegum, pear drops and vanilla ice-cream and smells just like the Snow Fairy products from Lush.
Flamingo Candles also have a few more traditional Christmas scents. The Gingerbread scent is something a little different than what I would usually go for but I am obsessed with it. It has scent notes of spicy, edible gingerbread with citrus nuances with warming cinnamon, clove and nutmeg, completed with a rich base of vanilla cake. Mulled Wine & Berries is a gorgeous scent with warm and seasonal notes of apple, sweet berries, wine and brandy to orange, clove, ginger, cinnamon and vanilla.
You get a good scent throw out of each melt and I don't think you can beat them for £1 each! They would make great stocking fillers too.
