Rediscovering Old Favourites

I always get stuck using the same products over and over again and forget all about my favourites. I'm always testing out new products too so my favourite products always end up in the back of the drawer. But I decided to pull out some of my old favourites and I have fallen in love with them all over again.
Rediscovering Old Favourites
I have been using the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser on and off for around ten years now. I hadn't used it in forever and my Mum got it for me for Christmas and I have fallen in love with it again. It really is one of the best makeup removers and my skin adores it. Having acne prone skin is such a pain and it's also quite reactive too so I have to be careful what I use. This creamy cleanser removes all traces of makeup with ease while being gentle on the skin. This is one of those staple products that I know I can always go back too.

I'm always switching out the products in makeup bag, I try to do it every few weeks so it's not often that the same products stay in there. I'm trying to use up a lot of my base products before they expire so I decided to pull out the Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 Hour Foundation again. When I first picked this up, I was absolutely obsessed with it and I do still really like it. It has the perfect amount of coverage that I like and the texture is between a liquid and a mousse. The only issue I have had with this is that it doesn't last on my skin for as long as I'd like but I would definitely consider repurchasing it in the future. One of the few products I don't switch out of my makeup bag is concealer, I usually only use Shape Tape. But I realised I had a brand new tube of IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye in my stash, thank you past self and quickly started using it again! You only need the tiniest amount of this and the coverage is insane! It is on the thicker side but as long as you set it well, it will not budge. It's great if you have acne-prone skin like I do as it is the only product that can cover my breakouts.

I have enough highlighters to last a lifetime but the Jeffree Star Cosmetics Skin Frosts really are some of the best. I have a few of them and Princess Cut is what I'm currently using. These highlighters are blinding on the skin and this shade is a gorgeous baby pink. They last all day too and they look great on the eyes as well. The final product I have rediscovered lately is the Eylure x Fleur de Force Brow Definer. I have been using brow pomades for years now and always enjoyed them but adding a pencil to my routine has made a huge difference. I have been using it to extend the tail of my brow and it's brilliant! It's the perfect consistency, easy to apply and lasts all day. I love that each pencil comes with two shades.
