Barry M On Point Precision Eyeliner Review

I'm a bit of an eyeliner connoisseur, if I do say so myself. I have been wearing winged eyeliner for the last 12/13 years and I'm extremely fussy. I have tried so many different ones throughout the years and thought I had found my holy grail in the KVD Tattoo Liner but as I can no longer support the brand, I had to get researching.

Barry M nail polishes have been a staple in my collection ever since I got into beauty products in my teens but I haven't tried too many of the makeup products. I was googling different eyeliners to try and find good options that were cruelty-free and the On Point Precision Eyeliner (£4.59) popped up. For a few pounds, I had to give it a try and I have been so impressed and I already know that I will be repurchasing this and keeping backups of it in my collection.

This eyeliner has a black waterproof formula and says that you can create a dramatic eye in one controlled stroke. I have been used to brush tip applicators for the last couple of years so going back to felt tips, I wasn't too sure how I was going to feel about it. When I first opened this eyeliner, I was surprised at how long the tip is as it's much longer than any other eyeliner I have used but I actually love that about it! I thought it would be too flexible making it harder to apply but it actually works to the complete opposite effect. As the applicator is fine but long, it's much easier to get a thinner, smoother line and wing which I love as I would end up with my liner being too thick with many other eyeliners.

This is one of the few eyeliners that I don't need to do multiple strokes to fill in all of the gaps, I wouldn't say that I can completely do my liner in one go but it's much less than what I would do with any other eyeliner. It's one of the most intensely black eyeliners I have ever used and no matter if I apply it over eyeshadows or on a bare lid, it glides onto the skin. It doesn't bleed, transfer, fade or budge throughout the day. It has a matte finish and it is extremely long wearing, it can last from being applied at 5am to still going strong at midnight. I wouldn't personally say that's it's waterproof, I would say that it's splash proof and providing that you don't touch your eyes if you got caught in a rainstorm it wouldn't budge.

I would go as far as saying that this eyeliner is better than the KVD and one of the best ones I have tried in years. For under £5 you can't beat it! It's cruelty-free and vegan too so they get extra points.
