The Tokyo Spring Collection 2019 has been designed for you to discover the vibrant, trendsetting city of Tokyo. It's been inspired by the city's balance of rich tradition as well as nature with fashion-forward style and ultra-modern cityscapes. The polishes in this collection feature a variety of shades from stunning pastels to vibrant brights that evoke the energy and creativity of Tokyo. There are 12 new shades in this collection including the hero shade of Another Ramen-tic Evening which is a new take of the popular millennial pink with a dusty rose hue. The shades in this collection are:

- Rice Rice Baby: mauve/pink creme
- Another Ramen-tic Evening: dusty rose creme
- Arigato from Tokyo: pink with purple hues creme
- Samurai Breaks a Nail: royal purple shimmer
- All Your Dreams in Vending Machines: a shimmery fuchsia pink
- Hurry-juku Get this Color!: Deeper pink/berry creme
- How Does Your Zen Garden Grow?: A light lime green creme
- Suzi-san Climbs Fuji-san: dusty blue creme
- Chopsticks and Stones: Navy shimmer
- I'm On a Sushi Roll: a tiffany blue/green creme
- Kanpai OPI!: muted periwinkle creme
- Tempura-ture is Rising!: a bright coral creme

I love the shade range of this collection and I have worn and loved every single shade. From my experience, all of the shades only need two coats for full coverage which is fantastic for pastel shades especially. OPI is one of the rare formulations that works brilliantly with my nail chemistry and is so long-lasting without the need for base and top coats. Of course, if I use those products they will last even longer. All of the shades apply smoothly to the nails without any streakiness and I love the size of the brush as it isn't so wide that you end up with excess polish on the skin surrounding the nails.

While I do love all of the polishes in this collection, a couple of the shades are very similar which I actually like for having miss match style nails. If you follow me on Instagram, I have been posting my nails a couple of times a week on my stories and I haven't worn one colour alone in weeks. I love shades like Another Ramen-tic Evening and Rice Rice Baby together for more subtle nails, I'm On a Sushi Roll and Suzi-san Climbs Fuji-san is great for this too! My top three shades from this collection would have to be Chopstix and Stones, I'm On a Sushi Roll and Tempura-ture is Rising! Navy nails as always been a classic go-to polish (Russian Navy is one of my favourites) so I knew I'd love Chopsticks and Stones. Tempura-ture is Rising! is the perfect Summer shade so I know as we head into warmer weather I Will get even more use out of this shade.

All of these polishes are available in the classic Nail Lacquer formulation for £13.50 each but they are also available in the Infinite Shine formula for £14.50. You can also get these shades in GelColor formulas from an OPI salon professional. You can find all of these gorgeous shades - HERE
