While I have been sharing a few individual book reviews in the last couple of weeks, I have read a whole lot more and I thought I would share another five mini book reviews today. I have now read over 100 books so far in 2019 and I can't believe I have managed that.

Pretty Mess by Erika Jayne

Ever since I got back into watching The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills a month or so ago, I have become obsessed with Erika Jayne. I adore the woman so I had to get her book and I really liked it. It's not the most well-written book but I loved learning more about Erika. If you're an Erika Jayne fan like I am, definitely check this out. I loved reading about her relationship with Tom as their huge age difference fascinated me.

This is a second chance romance with a hint of sports that I liked. It wasn't my favourite read, I preferred Meet Cute by Helena but I would still recommend it. This follows Lilah and Ethan and there is a lot of steamy scenes in this one if I can remember it correctly. I liked their romance but I did find some parts a little unrealistic.

I love Christina Lauren books and this was no disappointment. Roomies follows Holland and Calvin, Calvin is a musician who is in the States illegally and Holland works with her uncle on Broadway. After an incident, Holland gets Calvin an interview with her uncle and he wows him but can't take the dream job as he is an illegal resident. Holland offers to marry him so he can stay in the States and take the job and it all goes on from there. I really liked this book as it was different than anything I had read recently.

I was in a reading slump before I came across this book and it pulled me right out of it. This was such a fun read and it's an office romance featuring her brother's best friend. A lot of the drama I had been expecting in this book wasn't even a slight bump in their romance which I adored. This was a quick read and I will definitely be reading it again soon.

This book was fantastic and you can check out my full review, here. This is a witty rom-com with an uplifting message and great side storylines too. This book follows Leon and Tiffy, Tiffy is in need of a new place to live on a serious budget when she comes to share a flat with Leon. But they have never met, yet share a bed. It's different than anything I have read recently, I gave it 4.5 stars and if you read one book from these five - make it this!

What books have you read recently?
