Tropic Foundations & Brush Review

I have just started trying out Tropic's makeup in the last few months and I have been really liking it so far. Foundations are products I always love to try out because I don't often repurchase the same one and I have been really enjoying the two I have tried from Tropic!

Tropic Foundations & Brush Review
While I am usually a lover all of things medium to full-coverage but in the summer I love products that are a little more natural and sheer. The Beauty Booster Sheer Foundation (£22) is available in six shades, I do wish that they have a bigger shade range so there was a shade  for everyone. I wear the shade Barely Nude in both foundations I am going to be talking about today. This foundation has weightless coverage, a long-lasting formula and a dewy finish as well as having SPF 35. I really do like this product, even though it does have light coverage, it blurs over any discolouration and I love the dewy finish which surprised me as I am usually all about the matte finishes. It wears well on the skin and I have found myself using this on days when I don't wear a full face as it does have SPF and it enhances my complexion.

The Mineral Foundation (£24) is also available in six shades. This product claims to have flawless coverage, natural finish and SPF 25. Tropic says that this foundation has full coverage but having tried it out multiple times with a range of different brushes, I don't find it to have great coverage. But I do adore the finish it gives the skin and it works great to set foundations with a lighter coverage to bump it up. I have been wearing both of these Tropic foundations together and I adore how they look, wear and feel throughout the day! The combination of both products is flawless with great coverage and a long-wear finish. Even though the Mineral Foundation does lessen the dewy effect of the Beauty Booster Sheer Foundation, it does look heavy healthy on the skin when paired with the Mineral Foundation.

I love a kabuki brush, I always have one in my makeup bag so I love trying out new ones. The Eco Artist Kabuki Brush (£22) is fluffy, densely packed with vegan soft fibres and will give you a flawless finish every time. I have been really liking this brush, it's soft and has a little bit of flexibility to it so I find that it applies products well. It works fantastically to apply the Mineral Foundation and it's comfortable to hold.

Tropic is a cruelty-free and vegan brand.
