I have been waiting for months for this book to be released! I haven't read anything from this author before so I am hoping this is a good introduction. I love anything royal related and royal theme books are some of my favourites to read. I have really high hopes for this one and how beautiful is that cover?!

My Review
This book is multi-perspective and I actually found it really easy to follow as all of the characters are so distinctive and complex. I loved reading from different perspectives in this book as this book is definitely more character-based than plot-driven, honestly not a whole lot happens but I didn't mind it in the slightest. I adored this book! My favourite characters were Nina, Beatrice and Samantha and seeing their relationships with each other change and grow was one of my favourite things. Samantha had some huge character developments which I loved reading about. From the early pages of this book, I knew I hated Daphne and I wasn't wrong to hate her. She gives me Gossip Girl season one vibes. This book did have a little bit of diversity with Nina, she is Latina and has two mums.
I knew I was going to love this book and it didn't disappoint! I can't go into my thoughts too much as I want to keep it spoiler-free but there are some romances that I am seriously rooting for! This book is the first in a series, I'm not sure how many books there will be but I am already excited for next autumn for the next book. The pacing was slow, it's 440 pages and there isn't a tonne that happens until the end of the book but I also feel that the beginning is going to be very important for the series going forward.
This book really is Crazy Rich Asians mixed with Gossip Girl and then add in royalty! I really enjoyed this book and gave it four stars. I was instantly gripped and I am so happy that it's a series as I cannot wait to see what happens next. If you love romance with a lot of drama, you will love this book!
