With just one month until Christmas, it's time to sparkle! I love glitter on my eyes all-time of the year but at Christmas, you can always go all out! I have picked out some of my favourite products to transform your makeup from work to Christmas party in a flash!
One of the big beauty trends this year is glitter and I am so excited about it. With makeup, you can get so creative and these products will have you sparkling like a bauble and glowing in just a few minutes. Highlighter is always a must-have in my beauty routine and Sleek have some amazing palettes. The Distorted Dreams Highlighting Palette (£3.99) is stunning. It contains five prismatic shades that are cool-toned and give off an ice queen vibe. They are all very reflective and glowy on the skin but my favourite thing about this palette is that they almost appear holographic.
The eyes are where I always like to go all out and spend most of my attention on. The Stila Shimmer and Glow Liquid Eyeshadows (£13.99) are a great product if you are in hurry and want some quick swipe of something across the lid or if you want to use it with other products in the crease. Fragrance Direct has a few shades in stock but my favourite is Kitten. This is a lighter shade that is incredibly glowy on the eyes. I have been pairing it with the L'Oreal Glitter Eye Liner (£1.99) for an extra punch. This liner is really impressive! The glitter is suspended in a clear base so you can great really creative with it. I have been using on the lower lash line as a little something extra to complete my eye look or as a topper on winged liner.
Lashes are a must for me during the Christmas season, they are game-changing! Even if you don't have time to do a full makeup look after work before heading to your Christmas party, if you pop on a pair of lashes you will look like you spent hours on your makeup. The SOSU by SJ Alex Premium Eyelashes (£4.99) are stunning, comfortable to wear and completely cruelty-free. They have an invisible band and I love the length of them. The final product to add some sparkle to your makeup is a high impact lipgloss. The Prima Makeup Power Pout Diamond Gloss in Reflect Gloss (£4.50) will complete any makeup look. This is a clear based gloss with a hint of silver to it that's packed with fine glitter. You can use with alone or topped over your favourite lip colour and you are good to go!
