Coty Airspun Loose Translucent Powder Review

I don't watch many beauty YouTubers anymore but Tati is one I will always trust. Her recommendations have never failed me and this is one of her favourite and most-used powders so I had to see why she loved it so much.

The Coty Airspin Powder is available from Amazon in the UK and there are a few different options available but I went for the translucent one as that is typically my favourite to use. This loose powder is said to blend with your natural skin tone to set your makeup but can also be used as an alternative to foundation for a natural look. The powder particles are swirled and smoothed by racing streams of air for cloudlike softness and tints are spread thinly through the powder lying evening and flat on your skin for a flawless finish.

I adore this powder, I completely understand why Tati loves it! It is the perfect loose powder for setting foundation and concealer. I have been using it under the eyes and for my whole face and I love it for both uses. There is something special about this as it completely transforms my base every time I use it. It doesn't look heavy or powdery on the skin but it smooths everything over to five a poreless effect to the skin. It also has an incredible softness to it.

There are two things I dislike about this product, the first is that it isn't cruelty-free and the second is the scent. It is heavily scented and it does linger for a minute. The scent to me smells like a Grandma, no offence to Grandma's but I'm just not a fan. I have been using this since Christmas and the scent doesn't really bother me much as I have got used to it but it is something to keep in mind.

But one of the incredible things about this product, besides how it makes the skin look, is how long-wearing it makes my makeup. I apply my makeup at 5am during the week and this powder has my makeup lasting until 7pm without a touch-up. My foundation would usually only last until 3pm at the latest before I need to do a touch up. While it is translucent, it does ever so slightly lighten my makeup which I personally. You get so much product in the jar so it is something to last me a while!
