I can never have enough eyeshadow palettes but recently I have been trying to go outside of my comfort zone and stop sticking to warm neutrals. This palette is still incredibly wearable but a step in the right direction.
There are three different Nude Obsessions Palettes from Huda Beauty and they have been designed with skin tones in mind. Of course, you can use whatever palettes you like but this one really caught my attention and it's perfect for my light skin tone. I have wanted this palette ever since it launched and I am so happy to have my hands on it now, I have been so impressed with it.
This palette retails for £27 which I think is a great price for what you get as well as the packaging. You get nine shadows with a mix of matte and metallic shades and all of the shades work perfectly together. The packaging is luxe yet simple and feels extremely well made and I love that it has a mirror inside for on the go applications and close-ups.
This palette is an edit of soft pastel neutral mattes and blinding and brightening shimmers. You get five matte shades and four intense shimmer shades. I had never used any of the Huda Beauty eyeshadows before and I have been insanely impressed! All of the shades in this palette have a theme of pink, purple and brown and it has become one of my favourite go-to palettes. The matte shades are smooth, blendable and well pigmented as well as being creamy to the touch.
The shimmer shades are insane. I have never had shimmer shades quite like these. They apply much better with your finger than a brush and they are so intense on the skin. They have a duo-chrome effect and are so reflective. The swatches really don't do these shades justice. These shadows are the star of the show in this palette.
I never thought I would wear pink and purple eyeshadows but now I can't stop. I have been loving playing around with this palette and I highly recommend it. All of the shades are a dream to work with great pigmentation and are easy to blend. They wear well throughout the day, even without eyeshadow primer, and I know this won't be the only Huda Beauty eyeshadow palette in my collection for long.
