I always invest in my skincare products as my skin is quite problematic and I need to find a routine that works. Ole Henriksen is one of my favourite skincare brands so a few months ago I got some new products and I have been loving them.
The Ole Henriksen Glow2OH Dark Spot Toner is a product I have been wanting to try for a while now but I didn't want to invest in the full size straight away as I wasn't sure if I was going to like it. Boots have a smaller version of this for £10 (the full size retails for £22) so as soon as I spotted it, I knew I had to have it. This is a toning skincare product that will target dark spots, fine lines and wrinkles while brightening and smoothing skin texture.
I had seen some great reviews of this so I was really intrigued to see how it would work for me as the results are exactly what I was looking for in a skincare product. This other is to be used in your evening skincare routines after cleansing the skin but before moisturising. You pour some product onto a cotton pad and then sweep across the skin. It does give you a slightly tingle on the skin which I didn't know about on first use but it is normal! It contains AHA so you need to make sure you wear SPF daily when you use this.
I have been using this on and off for a month and a half now and I will definitely be getting the full size. It contains glycolic acid and lactic acid as well as witch hazel water, lemon, sugar cane, liquorice root, chamomile and sandalwood extracts that all work together to improve your skin. I have noticed my skin is brighter and much more even since I started using this. And a lot of my unevenness and dark spots come from having acne badly through my teens and I am already seeing an improvement in my skin! It doesn't leave my skin feeling dry or stripped which I really like.
