I'm not a huge liquid lipstick wearer, you'll almost always find me wearing a gloss or lip balm. But my mum loves all lip products and decided she needed to try these and I temporarily stole them.
The Ciate Glitter Lip Liquid Lipsticks are said to be the worlds first transforming glitter lipstick. These liquid lipsticks will transform from matte to glitter with a wearable finish in multi-dimensional shades. There is a tonne of shades available, my mum decided on two of the more wearable shades in Whisper (mink taupe) and Undressed (a cooler toned nude). These lip products have a vegan and gluten-free formula.
You apply these the same way you would with any liquid lipstick and Ciate claims they will be completely dry within two minutes. To activate the glitter, all you have to do is press your lips together! It's so cool to see the glitter reveal itself and they really do work. I wouldn't say that they dry down completely and you can definitely feel them while you are wearing them. They do transfer which is slightly annoying as when I wear a liquid lipstick I want it to be extremely long-wearing and transfer-proof.
I do think these are cool and while they do transfer, they are quite long-wearing and I like the finish, it doesn't look or feel drying on the lips. And you can apply an extra coat if needed without it going funny in your lip lines. I love the shade range, there are some fun brighter shades in the lineup.
