I squealed when this arrived in my post box! I have been a fan of the Urban Decay Eyeshadow Palettes for years and I think this might be a new favourite. Purple is one of my favourite colours and I just dyed my hair purple so this couldn't have arrived at a better time.

The Urban Decay Ultraviolet Palette retails for £43 and is a Cult Beauty exclusive. This palette is packed full of purple hues and some everyday neutrals. And that is why I love this palette so much as you have the pops of colour for bold looks as well as the wearable everyday colours so you can get so much use out of this palette. You can even combine the two different halves of the palette and experiment!

This 12 pan palette has quickly become one of my favourite palettes in my collection. It contains a mixture of matte, satin and shimmer shades and the amount of looks you can create with this one palette is crazy. With a lot of eyeshadow palettes there are always a few shades that I would never wear but with this one, I know I will use each and every shade.

The first five shades in the palette have been my go-to eyeshadows for work makeup looks. The shades Dazed and V.R are stunning shimmer/metallic shades that I find best applied with a finger the lid. I will then take Hacked in the crease to blend with a little of Trippin' to highlight the brow bone. Lucid is one of the coolest eyeshadows I have in my collection! It's a super reflective mint green and I haven't seen anything like this shadow before.

My two favourite purples from this palette are Warning and Eurphoic, Warning is a little pinker and it looks gorgeous on the lids blended into the crease alone. All of the shadows in this palette have great pigmentation and with a little effort blend really well. They wear extremely well throughout the day and don't crease or fade away.

If you are looking for a new eyeshadow palette to add to your collection that has some wearable everyday shades and some fun colours to play around with, this is the palette for you!

Urban Decay is a cruelty-free brand.
