I am always trying to find the best moisturiser for my skin and Glossier has become one of my go-to skincare brands over the last couple of years. I haven't tried many products that I haven't loved from the brand and for the last month or so, I have been using this to see if it is worth the £23 price tag.
The Priming Moisturizer Balance is an oil-control gel-cream that retails for £23. This described as a lightweight moisturiser that will help to balance oil without drying skin or leaving a flat, powdery finish. Pores will appear to be minimized, shine will be held at bay and skin will be hydrated and happy. It has been developed and formulated with oily skin in mind as this product will absorb quickly for a refreshing dose of moisturise that doesn't add any additional shine. This product contains some great ingredients from the likes of:
- Apple Fruit Extract: helps lock in moisture
- Marine Extract: reduces the appearance of shine instantly, throughout the day, and overtime
- Niacinamide: helps improve the look of pores
- Willow Bark Extract: helps smooth the appearance of skin
- Bamboo Extract: helps visibly improve skin's texture
You can use this in your morning and evening skincare routines and it makes a fantastic morning moisturiser. I have been really liking this product and noticing a huge difference when I use it and when I use something else. This really does make an immediate difference and keeps my skin a whole lot less oily not just from application but throughout the day as well. And as this does keep my skin less oily throughout the day. It's instantly comforting on the skin and if my skin is ever feeling tight after cleansing, this is my go-to product to use. And while it does control oil, it doesn't mattify the skin but it leaves it looking healthy and refined.
As I have been using this mainly in my morning skincare routine before I apply my makeup, I have been noticing that while my makeup does last longer, it always wears better and my pores aren't magnified when this is applied beforehand. This is my perfect moisturiser and my skin has been soft and smooth since I started using this. I also really like the packaging as it comes with a pump so you never apply too much or waste any product.
