L'Oreal Paris True Match Concealer Review & Swatches

It has been ages since I have tried anything from L'Oreal but I was really intrigued when these new concealers arrived. The True Match Foundation was one of my go-to products throughout my late teens and year twenties so I was excited to try a new product from the range. Swatched: 1-2D Ivory Beige (bottom), 1-2R Rose Porcelain (top)

The new L'Oreal True Match Eye-Cream In A Concealer is available in eight shades and retails for £9.99. This product has been created multi-purpose action in mind. 53% of women say that they would prefer their makeup products to have skincare benefits. And this concealer is the perfect blend of skincare and makeup if you ask me. I was not expecting to like this as much as I do as I am a full coverage lover and going for something with anything less than medium coverage is unlike me. 

This concealer has very light, coverage and with only eight shades available, L'Oreal recommends picking a shade similar to your skin tone but you don't need to worry about it being an exact match like with a foundation. I have the two lightest shades available and I find that Rose Porcelain is a decent match for me and for reference I wear shade 130 in Fenty Beauty foundations. I personally would like liked to see more shades in the range as even with the light coverage to make it more inclusive, even more so from a brand as big as L'Oreal. As this is light coverage, it's perfect for no-makeup days or when I've had a good nights sleep. 

I really rate this product. I love the light coverage it provides as it is brightening and illuminating so I don't need a tonne of coverage due to these qualities. It's lightweight and doesn't crease too much once I apply a light covering of loose powder. The formula contains Hyaluronic Acid (one of my favourite skincare ingredients) as well as vegetal origin glycerin to make sure skin is moisturised and replumped throughout the day. It really is hydrating under the eyes and comfortable to wear. If this product had medium coverage, it would be my perfect concealer!
