Morphe Lit Highlight Review & Swatch

For someone who owns a hell of a lot of highlighters, I haven't actually been wearing them a lot recently. I'm not sure what's happened but when I do wear a highlight, I have been gravitating towards this one from Morphe. This is one of the few products from the brand in my makeup collection and I wanted to share!Morphe Lit Highlight Review & SwatchMorphe Lit Highlight Review & Swatch   When I think of Morphe, I always think of makeup brushes and the massive palettes. But this highlight has become a fast favourite of mine. The Highlighter from Morphe retails for £14 and there are seven shades available. I have the shade Lit and it's a glistening iced pale gold. All of the shades are gorgeous and I have my eye on Stardust next which is an iridescent pink.

This highlighter is a powder but it has a creamy formula and I have been loving it. It applies so smoothly to the skin and as it does have a creamy formula, it doesn't look powdery on the skin. I have mainly been using this on the cupid's bow, cheekbones and on the lids. I love adding a little highlighter over the top of my eyeshadow to brighten and add a little something extra to my look. It's really long-lasting as I can apply it at 5am and it will still be going strong in the early evening. One of my favourite things is that it doesn't draw any attention to any texture issues I have as it smooths over the skin.

One of my favourite things about this highlighter is that you can easily sheer it out for a more natural glow or you can build up the intensity for a blinding shine. I have been using the Real Techniques Setting Brush to apply it anywhere on the skin and the Real Techniques Shading Brush for the eyes. Lit is brightening so it's also great for the inner corners.

Morphe is a cruelty-free brand.
