Recent Reads #22: A Kindle Unlimited Binge

It's been a while since I did a reading update! It wasn't because I wasn't reading but I had slowed down slightly. It always takes me a little while to adjust to being at work after having the summer off and I also got a kitten so I have been a bit busy! But I have some great books to talk about today and all of them are available through Kindle Unlimited. Recent Reads #22: A Kindle Unlimited BingeDrive Me Wild - Melanie Harlow

This book started me off on an author binge. I had read quite a few books from Melanie over the last year or so but I fell head over heels in love with this book that I had to read more so there are two other books from the author in this post! I loved Blair and Griffin and I just found out that this book is the first in a companion series so I am hoping they make an appearance in future books! I had low expectations going into this, I have no idea why because I am a huge fan of the author. I can already tell this book is one of my favourites of 2020 and I can’t wait for the next book in the series to be released.

I actually got tears in my eyes towards the end and I almost NEVER cry when reading.

If you need to know one thing about me, it's that I am absolutely obsessed with Christmas so I start reading festive reads in September (sometimes August). I was really looking forward to reading this one as it had all the things that I usually love but it wasn't a five star read for me. It did have some funny moments but towards the end, I thought it dragged on a bit.

This book was simply, incredible. Nate is a divorce attorney and across the hall lives Emme who is a wedding planner. One day, a baby is left on Nate's doorstep and he has no idea how to be a father and needs Emme's help. I can't say enough good things about this book, it was everything I needed and more.

Meghan is my favourite author, ever. And I am so thankful for Kindle Unlimited as that is how I discovered her books. I have read almost all of them now and I wanted to read this one as there is a spin-off coming out in December and it did not disappoint. It wasn't my favourite Meghan Quinn, it will take a lot to knock That Second Chance off the top spot but it was one hilarious read. If you haven't read any Meghan Quinn and love rom-coms, you need to change that immediately.

Like Only You, this book was incredible and I gave both books five stars. This book follows Stella who is Emme's sister and Ryan who is an ex-marine living next to her grandmother. I don't want to give much away with this one but I HIGHLY recommend this book and pretty much every book I have read from Melanie so far.
