Christmas 2020 Movie Recommendations #3

I seriously cannot stop watching Christmas movies! They are getting me through the end of this year and I have been loving them all. I have a few Hallmark and Netflix newbies to share which are perfect to binge this weekend. Christmas 2020 Movie RecommendationsHolly & Ivy (Hallmark Movies & Mysteries)

A contractor helps a woman renovate a house so she can adopt a sick neighbour's two children.

I watched this on my friend's recommendation and it was incredible. This stars Janel Parrish (from Pretty Little Liars and to All the Boys I've Loved Before) and she is one of my favourite actresses. Fair warning, this is a really sad movie and I did cry so proceed with caution! But it was such a great movie with adorable kids, instant friendship, being selfless...and of course - a romance!

The Princess Switch: Switched Again (Netflix Original)

When Duchess Margaret unexpectedly inherits the throne to Montenaro and hits a rough patch with boyfriend Kevin, it's up to her double, Princess Stacy, to get these star-crossed lovers back together.

Was this movie ridiculous? Did I love it? YES! This was so much fun and incredibly cheesy but that is what I am looking for in my Netflix Christmas movies. No spoilers from me if you haven't seen this yet but I highly recommend this one, and the first if you haven't seen it. I hope we get a third one because obviously, we need four Vanessa Hudgens' in one movie!

Dolly Parton's Christmas on the Square (Netflix Original)

Dolly Parton's Christmas on the Square is a 2020 American Christmas musical film directed and choreographed by Debbie Allen

This was an experience. If you aren't a big Dolly fan, I think you will hate this. But I worship the ground she walks on so I loved it! The first half of the movie is mental with so much cheesy musical vibes that I didn't even know what I was watching but the second half of the movie was good and I did really enjoy it! I need all the Dolly content.

Christmas with the Darlings (Hallmark Channel)

A woman helps a charming man look after his orphaned nieces and nephew during the holidays.

This movie had a similar vibe to Holly & Ivy but wasn't all sad. This had all the makings of a good Hallmark Christmas movie and the main actress in this movie is gorgeous. I really liked her relationship with the main character, he had some great character growth which you don't always get in Hallmark movies.
