For my birthday this year, I got one of the Cult Beauty edits and while this is out of stock, I will wanted to talk about it today. The edit boxes that are curated by Cult Beauty are incredible and I haven't seen them talked about enough! This box was made for me as lip balms are my favourite lip products and it was such great value for money.
The Lip Edit retailed for £20 and featured four full size products and one travel size with a massive value of £55. This box included one of my favourite lip balms that I had finished a few months ago and it is worth nearly the whole value of the box! Even though this box is currently sold out, Cult Beauty does seem to offer these types of boxes often and they recently had a skincare one as well so it's worth following them on social media so you don't miss the next one!
The first product in the box is one of my all time favourites and it's the Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Kiss Lip Butter. Not only does this lip balm smell incredible but it provides great lasting hydration for the lips. This lip balm is huge and it will also help to intensify your natural lip colour. Another favourite of mine in the box is the travel size and it's the Huda Beauty Silk Balm. I got a gift set for Christmas with two limited edition shades and I have been loving them so I am excited to have the original.
The next lip balm is one I have heard great things about and it's the NUXE Reve de Miel Lip Balm that is said to be a must for the colder months. This seems like it will be a great one to use before bed to make sure the lips are soft when you wake up in the morning. And as it is a jar lip balm, I wouldn't be keeping this in my handbag at the moment. The Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Lip Pop is a product I have been wanting to try since it launched and this retails for around the price of the whole box! This is a scrub-to-balm product and contains AHAs to gentle exfoliate the lips while it hydrates.
Finally in the box is the Patchology FlashPatch Hydrating Lip Gel. This will smooth dry and sensitive skin as well as naturally enhancing the shade and volume of the lips. I have tried a few different products from the brand and I have been a fan so I can't wait to put this to the test.
