Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Lip Pop Review

Lip balms are my weakness. I can never stop myself from buying more and they are my favourite beauty product along with mascaras. For my birthday I got one of the Cult Beauty edit boxes and this one was included which I was so excited about as I had been wanting to try it since it was first released.
Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Lip Pop Review
The Watermelon Glow Lip Pop from Glow Recipe is the first product I have tried from the brand and it won't be my last. There is also a blueberry version which I need to get my hands on! This is a nourishing and AHA-based smoothing lip balm/treatment that has a scrub-to-balm formula that will gently exfoliate the lips while it hydrates to give you smooth and supple lips. This is a more expensive lip balm at £19.50 but as I really like the formula, I don't mind the price tag. I thought the packaging looked a little cheap online and while it is really simple, I love it and it does feel of higher quality.

It's packed full of intensely hydrating watermelon extract as all as watermelon and coconut oils so you can imagine how good this smells! It's honestly one of the best smelling beauty products and I love watermelon scents and flavours, it reminds me of Juicy Fruit chewing gum for some reason! It also contains coconut sugar and hibiscus-derived AHAs to remove dead and dull cells to make the lips even and soft. This really does give the lips the softest finish and deep hydration, if you like products like the Dior Lip Glow on how it looks and feels on the lips, this is similar. Even though this is a scrub-to-balm product, it doesn't feel rough on the lips a you apply it and you can barely feel the scrub aspect which I really like about it.

While this lip balm does a great job at hydrating the lips and smelling incredible, my favourite thing about it is the finish and colour it gives the lips! It gives the lips a universal pop of pink that is unique to you as it interacts with your pH levels so it will be one of a kind. I love the colour it gives the lips and it also gives the lips a light glossy sheen. It makes the lips look healthy and I can't recommend this enough if you are looking to splurge on a lip balm.

Glow Recipe is a cruelty-free brand.
