Maybelline Sky High Mascara Review | Viral on TikTok #2

Maybelline mascaras have always been my favourite from the high street. I have tried so many different over the years and they really doc read some of the best ones if you need an affordable one. This is a brand new release from the brand and it went extremely viral on TikTok and I finally got my hands on it about a month ago! The Maybelline Lash Sensational Sky High Mascara retails for £9.99 and it went viral for how incredibly long it can make the lashes. I love the false lash effect without having to actually wear lashes and I like my lashes so long that they touch my brows. I was so excited to try out this one after seeing all of the videos on Tiktok, they make it look insanely good! It says it will impact the lashes from every angle to provide full volume with a limitless lash look. 

It features an exclusive 'Flex Tower' mascara brush that bends to volumes and extend every single lash from root to tip. It features a washable mascara formula that will remove easily with bamboo extract and fibres for long, full lashes that never get weighed down. It's suitable for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers and has been allergy tested. 

I have tried so many different lengthening mascaras and this is a decent one! It really does make the lashes long but I also find it a little bit difficult to work with but it's more to do with personal preferences than anything to do with the actual mascara. I love plastic brush style mascaras as I find them much better when it comes to making the lashes longer and separated without the lashes getting clumpy. And this mascara is great for that, it keeps the lashes separated and leaves them feeling lightweight thanks to the formulation. But I don't like that the brush is so flexible and moves as you apply it, it just doesn't work for me and took me a while to get used to it. 

I love my lashes to be thicker, longer, curled and separated and the mascara nearly does all of these. It does hold the lashes well throughout the day when I curl them before application but it doesn't thicken the lashes but it doesn't claim to do so. Something I have noticed with this mascara is that even though it makes the lashes long, they do shrink after a few hours of wear which is so strange. It is easy to remove with a good cleansing product and it doesn't transfer or melt into the skin throughout the day.
