I feel like I have been waiting for a product like this from Glossier forever but it's finally here! Ultralip is the latest release from the brand and it couldn't be any more perfect if you ask me. I adore Glossier and this is a new favourite product of mine. 
The Glossier Ultralip is a combination of a balm, sheen of a gloss and the buildable colour of a lip hint. It's available in nine gorgeous shades and retails for £14 each. The packaging is almost identical to the Generation G but Ultralip's tube is millennial pink and I can't get enough. I am quite fussy with lip products and I always find myself reaching for balms over lipsticks as I like how comforting they are on the lips and I always want some hydration. But I tend to reach for tinted balms more often as I have very light coloured lips. And this product has already become a staple in my daily makeup routine and in my handbag.
This lip product is incredible and if you want a product that is hydrating, long wearing while giving the lips a healthy sheen and some colour - this is the product for you. I have five out of the nine shades available and I will probably end up getting the other four at some point. The five shades I have are:
- Lucite: soft peony pink
- Cachet: walnut brown
- Portrait: cherry blossom pink
- Villa: dusty rose
- Vesper: rich fuchsia
When I first saw the shades online, I thought Portrait was going to be my favourite but I actually find myself using Lucite and Villa the most. These two shades are perfect for everyday and go with any makeup look. Vesper is perfect for a more bold lip and Cachet is my mum's favourite! I really like how the colour is buildable with these as I don't love intense lip colours on me so a light wash with one swipe across the lips is perfect.
I have found these to be nourishing and hydrating on the lips and that is thanks to a oil blend formula. They contain a combination of meadowfoam, Jojoba and Watermelon to lock in moisture. They also contain Hyaluronic Acid which I am obsessed with. I wasn't expecting them to be long-wearing but they last for hours on the lips before needing to be reapplied which I found to be quite impressive as I am constantly wearing a face mask and they are still there after a shift at work! Ultralip is so comfortable to wear while being lightweight and I can't recommend them enough.
